Our practice is concentrated on Accident Benefits — representing people injured in motor vehicle accidents in their statutory benefits claims under Ontario's Insurance Act and the SABS. It is the work we know most deeply, and where focused attention most directly translates into stronger outcomes for the people we represent.
Alongside that core focus, we handle civil disputes in Small Claims Court and represent clients on traffic and Highway Traffic Act matters before the Provincial Offences Court. Injured in a motor vehicle accident? You may be entitled to more than you know.
Under Ontario's Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS), anyone injured in a motor vehicle accident — driver, passenger, pedestrian, or cyclist — is entitled to a defined set of benefits from their own auto insurer, regardless of who was at fault.
These benefits exist to support your recovery and protect your income while you heal. But the SABS is a complex regulation, the application process is rigid, and insurers routinely deny, reduce, or terminate benefits that you are entitled to receive.
Our practice is built around making sure that doesn't happen — and when it does, that it's reversed at the Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT).

Civil Disputes — Small Claims Court
Civil disputes up to $50,000.
The Small Claims Court is the busiest civil court in Ontario, and the venue where the firm regularly appears for both plaintiffs and defendants. As of October 1, 2025, its monetary jurisdiction was raised to $50,000 (exclusive of costs and interest), bringing a much wider range of civil litigation matters within reach of its faster, less formal process.
Whether you're chasing money you're owed or defending a claim brought against you, the difference between a strong case and a lost one often comes down to preparation, procedure, and credibility at the settlement conference and trial.
Traffic Tickets
A ticket is rarely just a ticket.
Most Highway Traffic Act tickets carry consequences far beyond the fine on the face of the offence notice — demerit points, insurance premium increases over multiple years, licence suspensions, and potential employment consequences for commercial drivers.
